What’s up G? I want to know your take on the Bradely-Marquez rumbling and then maybe a possible Lamont Peterson-Manny Pacquiao fight? Please tell me Arum is actually considering this as a tournament with the winners fighting each other. Even the losers fighting each other would be huge. And for Arum it makes sense two of the fighters involved are under contract with him and the other two are free agents, and it even blocks out Golden Boy’s rematch with Khan-Peterson. Also what do you think about Roach wanting Peterson for Manny when his other guy -Khan wants the rematch with Peterson so badly? -Patrick
Leon’s Response: I might be too focused on my boxers, but I thought Arum had all four of the boxers you mentioned for that potential tourney. I agree the tourney would be great, but on the flip side, having Pacquiao committ to two fights likely kills the chance of the Mayweather fight happening at the end of the year, which is what we ALL want. I think Roach knows Khan and Pacquiao better than we do, so

Brandon Rios-Juan Manuel Marquez, Timothy Bradley-Amir Khan, the Alexander-Maidana winner vs. the Ortiz-Berto II winner (unless their rematch warrants a rubbermatch), Ismayl Sillakh Vs. Any top light heavyweight, Gamboa Vs. Broner. Let me keep going. Alvarez-anybody with a pulse. Andre Ward vs. Anthony or Andre Dirrell. (Style wise I think either brother has a better chance than Bute). Klitschko-Klitschko, Lara-Williams II, Kessler-Froch II, Martinez-Abraham and Bute-Pascal.
