Just as in politics, boxing is littered with liars and people who take sides, whichever side suits them the best. In my last article I was (as predicted) attacked by blind sheep who would follow Manny Pacquiao into a burning building if he told them to, when I disclosed some truth to what’s going on in the background and under the radar. I take no sides, I just report what I know is fact and run with it.
Boxing has certain writers who like to report only what makes CENTS to them and if anyone dares write the truth about their favorite promoters, they go into attack mode. I guess when you are getting nice little kick backs from those promoters they feel it’s their obligation to attack those who dare speak the truth.
It’s the same crap in American politics. From the President all the way down to small town Mayor’s, people are bought off and fraud and corruption rears it’s ugly head.
The most recent lie? Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather negotiations are taking place. Yep that’s a big fat lie folks. Arum wants Marquez for a 4th time for Pacquiao and that’s not a lie. Do you want to know what else is not a lie? Pacquiao wants to fight Mayweather. That definitely is not a lie. Pacquiao wants to fight Mayweather badly. The problem? Arum doesn’t want that to happen and he’s doing everything in his power to pull the wool over Pacquiao’s eyes and the fans eyes.
