1. Falcons belong to the same genus while hawks fall into several genera. 2. Falcons have a notch on their beaks while hawks have a simple curve on the beak. 3. Falcons grab their prey with the beaks while hawks use talons on the feet to kill prey. 4. Hawks are generally larger birds than falcons.
OK, boxing lovers, bird lovers and those who admire and love both those who fight and those who take flight. Key questions arise in my alleged mind about this investor group Falcon Hawk Entertainment which sent out a breeathless press release about it having the inside track on landing the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao Super Bout. Falcon Hawk says it arranged Pacman agent Michael Koncz’s visit last week to the Mayweather gym in Las Vegas last week and Bob Arum minutes ago confirmed to me that this is 100 percent accurate and true. But, Arum noted, sorting out offers for the richest fight in history will take some time and careful vetting of the legitimacy and financial wherewithal of all three groups who have made or will soon make big offers to land the Dream Fight. It seems very odd that Falcon Hawk, which apprently includes the father of Michael and the rest of the Jackson Family, would put out a press release without having a signed contract with either fighter. Why wouldn’t Falcon Hawk fly low and quietly until they got signatures from both Floyd and Manny? Is the purpose of the press release so they can raise money or do they access to the many millions it will take to make the big bout happen? Mayweather’s fiance, sexy Miami model Ms Shantel Jackson, is mentioned in the press release. I am unsure if she is any relation to the Jackson musical clan but would you put out a press release like this involving Pacman and mention his wife, Jinkee? That also seems a bit odd or different. When you Google, Falcon Hawk Entertainment, you get zilch. Why is that? Is this a new enterprise that hasn’t even launched a website? Does the group have any track record or are they depending on the experience and clout of Papa Joe Jackson?
