The main event pits Mares and Agbeko in what will be their second encounter.
Their first match in earlier August was stained in controversy as Mares? repeated low blows only prompted referee Russell Mora to shell out half-warnings and even a scored knockdown on a low punch in the eleventh round in what became a disputed decision victory that dethroned Agbeko and enlisted Mares as the new IBF champion.
A cancellation of a proposed rematch due to sciatic nerve pain suffered by Agbeko stalled a rematch occurring earlier this year, yet, Mares waited out to give Agbeko his shot at redemption.
