Earlier today, WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan and challenger Lamont Peterson both made weight ahead of their HBO-televised clash on Saturday night.
Khan came in a bit under the limit at 139 pounds while Peterson was spot on at 140 pounds. This is likely Khan?s last fight in the division as he has been eyeing a move up to welterweight for a while now, stating his interest in bouts with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and the winner of the upcoming rematch between Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto.
