Roy Jones Jr, the former pound for pound king had a few things to say about the current situation concerning a possible showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Jones recently sat down with yours truly and shared his thoughts on Bob Arum and why it makes perfect business sense for the Top Rank head to continue feeding Pacquiao TR opponents, ”Why would Arum want to match up Manny with an opponent where he doesn’t maximize his earnings? The fans want to see Manny fight Mayweather next, but as far as business sense, Arum is smart.”
Roy wants to see the big Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao fight as bad as the rest of us do, but he’s right about this. Arum may be a few things, but he’s certainly not stupid. His plan to line up nothing but Top Rank fighters one after another for Pacquiao makes a lot of dollars and CENTS if you know what I mean?

Roy shared his thoughts on who he thinks would win if Pacquiao and Mayweather ever do go at it, “It depends on who’s on their A game more that night. Whoever makes the most mistakes will probably lose the fight. Whoever executes their game-plan with the least amount of mistakes will probably win the fight.”
Roy Jones steps back into the ring on December 10th Vs. Max Alexander. Many are calling for Roy to hang up the gloves. I asked Roy why he’s continuing on with his fighting career, “A doctor performs operations, and lawyers defend their clients. I am a fighter, and I fight. When I feel it’s time to quit, I will quit.”
