Moments ago, inside of the MGM Grand?s Garden Arena, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and challenger and three-division champion Juan Manuel Marquez weighed in ahead of their clash tomorrow night. The fight is being held at the catch-weight limit of 144 pounds and both men made weight comfortably, Pacquiao coming in at 143 pounds and Marquez 142.
It was an extremely crowded weigh-in, as is the case for anytime Pacquiao fights these days, and over 5,000 partisans were in attendance. Such notables as Evander Holyfield, Julio Cesar Chavez, Marco Antonio Barrera, former champion Jorge Linares, and several others made an appearance as well.
