If you have not seen the HBO Boxing Face Off segment with Antonio Margarito and Miguel Cotto in anticipation of their December 3 pay per view fight at Madison Square Garden, you have missed out on some true drama between rivals.
The highlight for many is when Miguel Cotto pulls out a tablet computer to show Margarito what he alleges to be doctored hand-wraps from their first encounter. The back and forth between Margarito and Cotto is classic, but another moment in the segment interested this writer much, much more.
Cotto has been critiqued for being to professional, a bit distant from media and fans in the manner which carries himself. The Puerto Rican gladiator has never been embraced like Felix ?Tito? Trinidad, Puerto Rico?s most recent beloved boxer.
