Going into Saturday?s night fight with Omar Narvaez many had expected an early knockout win for Donaire, but the stubborn Narvaez would not let his guard down and Donaire had to settle for a twelve round unanimous decision victory.
Throughout the twelve rounds the outclassed Narvaez was not eager to engage the taller Donaire. Narvaez was content just to survive the twelve rounds and get out of New York in tact.
