Rising Mexican junior middleweight boxing star Saul Alvarez finds himself in hot water South of the United States border.
With a November 26th fight against United States born Puerto Rican Kermit Cintron, the WBC junior middleweight champion Alvarez reportedly assaulted another Mexican world champion Ulises Solis.
Unfortunately for Alvarez, who has been widely criticized for facing weak opposition inside the ring, Solis will not help his image.
Solis is a light flyweight, fighting at 108 pounds, a man Alvarez likely outweighed by 50 pounds and hovers over a full six inches.
Reports claim Alvarez fractured Solis? jaw, an injury which is requiring a surgery to repair.
Apparently Solis had been running in the morning when he came across Alvarez, who got in an argument with Solid and then hit him two times in the face.
Solis claims that Alvarez, ?hit me with a left hook and straight right in the jaw.? The junior flyweight stand-out has filed charged against Alvarez. Advertisement
