Manila Mayor Lito Atienza will lead Manilans in a motorcade on Monday, October 3 for all three Filipino boxing champions who recently scored stunning victories in separate bouts in Los Angeles, California.
The motorcade, organized by the Manila Sports Council (MASCO) chaired by Arnold “Ali” Atienza, will be held for Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, Bryan Viloria and Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista and will start at the Manila City Hall quadrangle at 9 a.m. and ends 11 a.m. at Malaca?ang Palace where the three boxers will pay a courtesy call on President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
The route of the motorcade begins at Manila City Hall to Jones Bridge, right at Escolta, left at Dasmari?as, right at Quintin Paredes, right at Reina Regente, left at Claro M. Recto, right at Del Pan, left at Zaragoza, right at R-10, right at Moriones, left at Juan Luna, right at Tayuman to Governor Forbes, right at Espa?a to Nicanor Reyes (Morayta), left at Claro M. Recto to Mendiola, left at Concepcion Aguila, right at Nagtahan to Quirino Ave., right at Taft Ave., right at Ayala to Malaca?ang.
