Fishing for a fight for his own pound for pound talent, promoter Lou DiBella informed the Latino Boxing Examiner that he would be willing to pit middleweight champion Sergio Martinez against Floyd Mayweather at 164 pounds or less.
A bought between Martinez, of Argentina, and the American Floyd Mayweather Junior has been often discounted due to the disparity in the size of the men. Currently, Mayweather is campaigning as a welterweight at the 147 pound limit.
?I am willing to offer Floyd a fight where Martinez comes in at or under 164,? said DiBella via phone from New York City.

Mayweather knocked-out Victor Ortiz this weekend, with Ortiz rehydrating to 164 pound following the weight-in.
Is it unlikely Mayweather will take a Martinez bout, as a rematch with Ortiz could be possible or a 2012 bought with Britian?s Amir Khan.
