Last Saturday may have been a humbling night for former champion Victor Ortiz in many ways but the reality is that the 24-year still has a long and possibly prosperous career ahead of him. Inside of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Ortiz would be knocked out in shocking fashion by Floyd Mayweather Jr., surrendering his prized belt and suffering the third loss of his career.
While a loss is always hard to cope with, Ortiz and his supporters fully believe that he got an unfair deal. In the fourth round Ortiz had lost a point for an intentional head butt and moments later he would receive what he is calling a ?cheap shot? by Mayweather Jr. after he went to hug the undefeated fighter in a sign of remorse.
