HOT POTATO via Hollywood, California – Floyd Mayweather, Jr. who has changed his tune again Tuesday in an interview with Associated Content saying, “I will fight Pacquiao so long as he will take the random blood testing until the day of the fight and one after the fight,” even after denying what he said early last week to the media and public “Manny Pacquiao, you’re next!”, during New York Press Conference for Ortiz-Mayweather fight this Saturday, September 17, will have to reassert his ranting to fight Pacquiao.
Top Rank Godfather Robert “Bob” Arum says “We’re not gonna run after Mayweather.”
Pacquiao, himself, says he has “no problem with the random blood testing”, to which he agrees to be done 14 days before the fight and one after the fight, contrary to Mayweather, Jr.’s advances.
“If the Mayweather fight,” nevertheless, “is available and if he is serious to fight Pacquiao, I am sure we’ll come into an agreement,” says Arum. “But, so far, what he has done is ducked Pacquiao.”
And “Everybody has to make his own decision. If Pacquiao and Mayweather end up never fighting, the sun will still come up in the morning.”
