Manny Pacquiao and Dan Hill – There’s no one else like them

Off-Stage Commentary via Hollywood – Let me try my views percolate a bit simply as I get deeper into the recording of “Sometimes When We Touch” originally written and sang by world famous Dan Hill. Pacquaio kicked off the news conference Tuesday morning at Chelsea Piers in New York for the World Press Tour drum-beating his trilogy in boxing with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, with a rendition of this same song, along with Hill.

I do not need to set parameters for Pacquiao who soley relies on infectious charisma and renders his part as a way of promoting himself to reach out the greater public as a matter of mass marketing. I have listened carefully to the entire recording as I am a fan of such piece and I think Hill plays well in terms of enhancing Pacquiao’s voice into the fullness and sincerity of his feelings. And Hill truly does it in a non-intimidating fashion as much as he can, to bring color to Pacquiao’s voice. I mean he’s just a professional stimulator.
