Earlier today WBC junior middleweight champion Saul Alvarez was spotted in his training camp in Big Bear, California. The 20-year old is getting ready for an important date against former title challenger Alfonso Gomez and the two men will square off on September 17th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
The Alvarez-Gomez clash is a key ingredient to the ?Star Power? pay-per-view event headlined by the Floyd Mayweather-Victor Ortiz clash at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Despite?s the excitement towards Mayweather?s return, Alvarez has drawing power of his own and there should be a packed house inside of the Staples Center next month.
