Ring gladiator Manny Pacquiao, arguably the most popular athlete in the country today, and boxing impresario Rex “Wakee” Salud are set to engage in a probing talkathon with Sportsworld’s wacky host Bobby Inoferio at 8 p.m. tonight on the Cebu Catholic Television Network-Channel 47.
The show will be replayed tomorrow at 7:30 a.m.
Pacquiao, fresh off a sensational sixth-round KO victory over Mexican Hector Velasquez last Sept. 11, is expected to talk about his early days as a pugilist, his difficult youth in General Santos City, as well as his upcoming million-dollar blockbuster gig – a rematch with Mexican legend and conqueror Erik Morales early next year.
Salud, on the other hand, is set to discuss his future plans in the local boxing circuit.
