Many people have traveled the same path. From rags to riches then back to rags. Manny Pacquiao, a man who once sold smokes on the streets in the PI has risen from rags to financial freedom in less than 10 years. Financial freedom for now that is.
Take a good look at Mike Tyson. Here is a guy from Catskill, New York who grew up in Brooklyn. He didn’t have a pot to pee in. In comes boxing, and in a few years Tyson went from Brooklyn to the bank.
There are some alarming similarities when you look at Tyson and Manny Pacquiao. Tyson coming up the chain had a few people in his entourage, but once the money came rolling in, so did the leeches. Does that look familiar at all? Look at Pacquiao’s army that surrounds him now. Did we see this in 2001? etc
Mike Tyson lost most of his money, and as his money went so did the leeches. Thankfully, Tyson has regained his footing and has a clean life and a new career in TV. Tyson lost his money through bad investments, bad people around him, ridiculous spending sprees, and folks taking his money behind his back. Anything sound familiar at all?
Manny Pacquiao is one of the nicest guys that a person can meet. His problem is that he’s too nice. People are taking advantage of his generosity. Manny spends a lot of money, and he also gives a lot of his money away.

There are some sources that say Manny likes to gamble as well. Look, it’s Manny’s money so he is free to do whatever he wishes with it. Hopefully he is investing well because if history is any indicator of the future, Manny may end up broke one day.
There are too many cases to count where someone goes from nothing to wealthy, then loses it all due to bad investing, bad people, and bad decisions. There are some people in Pacquiao’s circle who are there for their own agendas. For some reason, Manny lets them stay. This may in fact come back to haunt him dearly.
Hopefully it wont be a doomsday scenario for Manny Pacquiao. The ingredient for it is unfortunately present as of today. There is no doubt that Pacquiao has people hovering within his circle that have no care for him whatsoever. They are there for one reason, and one reason only. They want to either take money, or make money off of Manny Pacquiao. This combined with Manny’s generosity, and his odd decisions to keep certain cancers within his circle doesn’t bode well for his financial future.
