While Philippine Congressman and pound for pound king, Manny Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38ko) leaps into action attempting to contain a disaster from occurring in his country in the form of an oil spill from reaching the shorelines of Sarangani, on the other side of the globe, WBC Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 38ko) has moved his training camp from Austria to the Ukraine and has offered to post bail for the jailed former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Klitschko has attempted to use his popularity in Europe to bring attention to the turmoil in his homeland and the heavy-handed rule taking place there. Klitschko, who is a member of the opposition party in the Ukraine has stated.

Manny Pacquiao has long been considered by the Philippine people as a future candidate for the Presidency of that country, and his fan base extends around the globe, including in America, where the Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali have not been able to make similar inroads to the hearts of many Americans.
Manny Pacquiao?s story is one that tugs the heartstrings of Americans, the underdog, the street kid makes good, it?s the story that has graced our movie screens since the beginning of film. His generosity and philanthropic endeavors get printed almost before they occur; his every move is examined and analyzed by press around the globe.
The Klitschko brothers though equally generous and philanthropic yet often get ignored by mainstream American press and boxing websites worldwide.
What makes these two entities that are so similar in success, so uniquely different in the public eye?
We find fault with the dominance of the Klitschkos and applaud Pacquiao?s.
All three boxers run thru contenders like green grass through a goose.
World Champion Wladimir Klitschko considered by many the top heavyweight in the world is an intelligent likable gentleman but his detractors outnumber his fans in the USA. He is trained by a well-loved American legend Manny Steward, just as Pacquiao is trained by another, in Freddie Roach.
Both Wladimir and Pacquiao have taken on all comers, faced the best the world has to offer in their divisions, yet the popularity is so vastly different.
The difference in my opinion is historical!
