Our reporting on the judges in New Jersey for the Paul Williams Vs. Erislanda Lara fight last Saturday night lit fires. The fire ultimately landed three judges on suspension and they will be required to go back to school and learn how to score a fight.

?With judges, it’s a difficult job. They have no replay, so it’s a difficult job at times. The NFL and NBA have instant replay, so it’s easier for them. With that said, in boxing as a judge, you have to be held accountable for what you see.?
?If a judge gives one guy a fight and it clearly should go the other way, he should be made to explain as to how and why he scored it the way that he did. I don’t want to celebrate their suspensions. ?I think the suspensions should be permanent. That was a great injustice that happened. Everybody that saw that fight knows that Erislandy Lara got robbed. They took the fight way from that kid.
