Manny runs out of tickets

LOS ANGELES — As far as Manny Pacquiao is concerned, there are no more tickets left for his Saturday night fight.

“The tickets have been sorted out,” said Pacquiao’s adviser Joe Ramos.

There are reports emanating from those who hang around with Pacquiao at his two-bedroom unit at Palazzo that VIPs and some friends from the Philippines will begin to arrive in trickles starting Wednesday.

One guy who stays with Pacquiao at the Palazzo bared that “six tickets” have already been reserved for First Gentleman Mike Arroyo, who is somewhere in California.

Another luminary expected to occupy a seat at ringside is Sen. Lito Lapid as well as Pacquiao’s friends and their friends.

Assured of credentials are Ramos, members of the fighter’s training team, handlers and a handful of Pacquiao’s circle of friends here.

Also on their way to Tinseltown are Cebu boxing manager-promoter Wakee Salud and even Polding Correa, the former chief handler of Pacquiao.

Notable absentees here are members of Pacquiao’s former management team, led by Rod Nazario and Moy Lainez, and Gerry Garcia, although another old-timer, Lito Mondejar, is expected to arrive here soon.

Tickets are priced at $300, $200, $100, $50 and $25.
