In a recent interview with Fighthype.com, Floyd Mayweather Jr denied that a 65 million dollar offer was made to him to fight Manny Pacquiao. I had my doubts about this offer as well. In the interview Floyd would go on to say, “If Pacquiao is doing such great numbers and he’s making so much money, why is he so worried about me?” Well Floyd, do you want the short answer? He’s not worried about you, hence his very active and successful past few years. Pacquiao is not worried about Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The last time I checked, Manny Pacquiao has been making quite a few trips to the bank and has been doing his thing in the ring quite frequently. Its not exactly the type of behavior that someone worried about Floyd Mayweather would portray.
So what’s next for Floyd? Boxing scribe Dennis Guillermo is reporting that Floyd Mayweather Jr’s next opponent will be newly crowned WBC welterweight champ Victor Ortiz. Read the report HERE

The first question that I have when it comes to a Mayweather Vs. Ortiz fight is, will Mayweather be demanding that a random blood test be given? Will Ortiz have to submit random blood tests up to the day of the fight? Advertisement
The issue of steroids came up several times during many of my Podcasts with Floyd Mayweather Sr. 8CountNews.com based out of Mississippi/Boston had Floyd Sr on several times, and in most Pod-casts steroids were brought up. If the Mayweathers are so worried about steroids, will Oritz be subjected to the same demands? Time will tell.

I have to be honest, I am looking forward to seeing an Oritz Vs. Mayweather fight. Ortiz looked like a relentless hungry animal Vs. Berto. If the same Oriz can show up Vs. Floyd, who knows what could happen.
My money would go on Floyd in that fight, but perhaps Ortiz can make a fight out of it. Floyd’s awfully good though, so in all actuality, Mayweather will more than likely defeat Ortiz.
Floyd Mayweather love him or hate him is a great fighter. He’s the only man in boxing that can defeat Manny Pacquiao. Will he defeat Manny Pacquiao? That’s another story. With that said, he is the only man that has the skills to do it. It’s so unfortunate that so many obstacles have jammed up this fight from happening.
