I don’t know about you boxing fans out there, but I for one am starting to get really tired of these so called professional fighters crying steroids every time they get beat up in the boxing ring. News-flash folks, sometimes a beat down is a beat down and steroids are not in the picture.
We all know by now that Manny Pacquiao has been the subject of these steroid attacks for a few years now. His systematic cleansing of the lighter divisions all the way up to the Junior middleweight divisions has triggered the steroid assumptions by a handful of folks in the boxing world. Most have since backtracked but a few still remain. Oh and for the record, those who still remain are still facing lawsuits.
Recently Via Twitter former world champion Andre Berto brought up the steroid issue and dropped it on the head of newly crowned world champion Victor Ortiz. Berto was whooped by Ortiz, and now we have another steroid attack. This is getting pathetic. Sore losers at the highest level of the sport can’t seem to just take a loss for a loss, they have to make up excuses and blame those who defeated them on steroids. Advertisement
8CountNews.com based out of Mississippi has had Floyd Mayweather Sr on their Podcast program on several occasions. Most of the time the conversation got around to steroids. Most of the time it was Floyd Sr that brought up steroids. Of course Pacquiao and Mayweather have not fought yet, but nevertheless the subject of steroids still arose.

Yes there are cheaters in sports. Boxing is not exempt from cheating by any stretch of the imagination. Just like in any sport, steroids are used by some of the athletes. With that said, just because a fighter gets his or her butt kicked in the ring, it doesn’t mean that the winner has to be on steroids.
