Yankees slugger Reggie Jackson, one of the biggest egomaniacs to ever play the game, once boasted that he was ?the straw that stirs the drink? meaning that he was the supernova on the team.
In disrespecting catcher and team captain Thurman Munson, Jackson snidely remarked that, while Munson ached to be the star or stars, ?he can only stir it bad.?
?Ravi Gupta,? or whatever his real name is, tries to be the straw that stirs Internet passions against Pinoy Idol Manny Pacquiao and his adoring fans.
To ?Gupta,? Pacman fans are derogatorily known as ?Pacroids,? as blind followers of an athlete who might be, although no one including character assassin ?Gupta? offers a shred of proof, cheating with drugs.
I used to take ?Gupta? serious, with his Facebook blasts on Pacman and Pacfans, but I flipped my script.
?Gupta? is funny, actually, more deserving of pity than he is of dislike. Although he acts in a hateful manner, I can?t find it within me to hate him.
In the insanity of the web, who knows, maybe, as some have speculated, he is some Filipino kid/Pacfan who is just goofing on us all?
It could happen.
Here then, for your amusement only, is the Top Ten fighter ranking from ?Gupta.?
You might notice he must have Pacquiao as, at best, his 11thbest boxer extant. Advertisement
The low level of credibility ?Gupta? has or had sinks to below zero, though, when he lists Mexican counterpuncher Juan Manuel Marquez as his Number 7 fighter, ignoring how Pacman has floored Juan Ma four times and earned a draw and a decision victory, albeit controversial, over him.
Other than the exclusion of Pacquiao, the list by ?Gupta? is not that bad.
Maybe he does know a left hook from a fish hook but is blinded by Pacman?s dazzling light.
Here it is:
I know ya’ll been waiting for this list, Well this is the official Rankings, all biases aside, no media hyped influence from the media..
