The legendary Roy Jones Jr fought bravely into the 10th and final round. Jones went up against a younger and stronger Denis Lebedev plus Father Time at the same time.
At 2:59 seconds of round 10 Lebedev nailed Jones and followed it up with additional blows that had Roy out on his feet. Lebedev threw one last right hand that sent Jones to the canvass.
There were intermittent flashes of Roy’s once greatness but it was few and far between. Lebedev, the younger and stronger fighter pressed the action and Jones just didn’t have the answers.
A younger Roy Jones wins this fight going away. Now in is 40’s he clearly is not the fighter of old and should seriously consider retirement.
After the fight Roy told the crowd, ?I don?t give up easy. I still might come back.?
