MANILA, Philippines – Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of Sarangani congressman and 8-division boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, is celebrating her 62nd birthday in grand style.
The Pacmom said she is working overtime to perfect the Argentine tango that she will perform in her birthday party this weekend.
Organizers are also busy decorating the Pacquiao gym in General Santos City, which will be the venue for the party.
The party will have a tropical summer theme and will have thousands of fresh flowers.
The Pacmom said she will be distributing 800 invitations to friends and special guests including former President Joseph Estrada and Comedy Queen Ai-ai delas Alas.
The birthday party will also coincide with the congressman’s victory bash after his successful defense of the World Boxing Organization welterweight crown against Sugar Shane Mosley.
