Paris?s sister Nicky, a famous American model and fashion designer, even tweeted links from her Lockerz.com account showing photos of the Filipino champion speaking during the post press conference of the fight that she and Paris attended. Lockerz.com is an international social networking and e-commerce website.
Reports disclosed that among the favorite hashtags yesterday include #Pacquiao, #PacMosley, #Pacman and even #PinoyPride that refers to the welterweight champion.
Among the related tweets that went viral in the Internet retweeted by fans came from local celebrities such as Charice Pempengco, Luis Manzano, Kakai Bautista, Sam Milby, Hayden Kho, among others.
Charice, a Filipina star of the TV musical drama series Glee, sang yesterday the Philippine national anthem ?Lupang Hinirang? minutes before the Pacquiao-Mosley fight at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
Charice recently expressed thanks to Pacquiao via Twitter after learning that she was chosen by the champ to sing the national anthem for the fight. Charice tweeted: ?Thank you Sir Manny Pacquiao for choosing me to sing the Philippine National Anthem for your fight. Feel really blessed?.
