Bob Arum mentions Marquez, Bradley or Judah as next Pacquiao foe

LAS VEGAS?First off, let me compliment Floyd Mayweather Jr. on his television viewing choice for Saturday night.

The unbeaten Mayweather had tweeted a few days ago that he would eschew Saturday night’s Sugar Shane Mosley-Manny Pacquiao WBO welterweight title bout to stay home here in this gambling mecca to watch singer Lady Gaga on HBO.

Mayweather was taking a sarcastic dig at Pacman, at his promoter Bob Arum and the Showtime/CBS combination handling the PPV Tv arrangements in place of HBO which had been airing Pacquiao’s bouts.

Lady Gaga could not have as boring, as soporific as this dreadful 12-round snoozer between the always trying Pacquiao and the over the hill, make that way over the hill, 39 year old Mosley. Advertisement

Mosley was thought by many to be the proverbial ?punched ticket,? a fighter who was beyond his sell by date and his lackluster performance made his terrible bout against Sergio Mora look like wonderful erntertainment.

So what’s next after Megamanny won a wide unanimous decision over Mosley?

Arum talked about having Pacman’s next bout here at the MGM Grand on Nov. 5 or across town at the Thomas & Mack Center on Nov. 12.

Arum listed Juan Manuel Marquez as the first choice and then mentioned Tim Bradley and Zab Judah as other options.
