With cramping legs and a retreating Shane Mosley, pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao still dominated for 12 rounds. When Shane Mosley was knocked on his butt in the 3rd round, he had a deer in headlights look on his face. You could almost read his mind, “Ohhhhhh man that dude hits hard!”
Immediately after the knockdown the entire game changed. Mosley went into survival mode just like many of Manny’s opponents do. Chalk up yet one more legend on Pacquiao’s resume. There is simply nobody in boxing that can compete with this man. Well…..almost nobody. There is one person, and ALL of you know who I am talking about.
Unfortunately there are some big issues in the way that must be handled before any negotiations can ever take place. In fact, there is a pretty good chance that a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather will never happen. Slander lawsuits, and other legal matters have put a huge barrier in the way.
Pacquiao really has nothing else to prove at this point. Honestly? By the sounds of him in his last interview he sounds like a man completely content not fighting Mayweather.
