FILIPINO ring warrior Manny Pacquiao will promote his coming bout with Hector Velazquez in a press conference on August 11 in Los Angeles.
Pacquiao will be accompanied in the forum, organized by Top Rank, by chief trainer Freddie Roach and his manager Shelly Finkel, according to 15rounds.com.
Also expected to be on hand during the forum are Velazquez and his trainer Fernando Beltran.
Pacquaio will fight Velazquez on Sept. 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in a card, which also features Erik Morales.
Morales will figure in the main event against Zahir Raheem, a former US Olympian from Philadelphia.
Both of the featured bouts are scheduled for 12 rounds.
Should Pacquiao and Morales win in the event dubbed “Double Trouble”, the two will slug it out in a blockbuster rematch in December.
Morales, from Tijuana, Mexico beat Pacquiao in an action-filled match last March at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
In that battle, Pacquiao suffered a nasty cut above his right eye due to a headbutt in the fifth round, but almost knock Morales out in the final round.
