Brief notes from Casual talk – Simply it was one of an ever lively morning again at the Mount AdChoices
Hollywood Hiking Trail. But, the magnet of thrill was not there. I was told last Wednesday byAdChoices
Team Pacquiao that the great Maharlikan ring hero won’t have a workout this Friday, April 15, because he would have his physical examination done at 10 a.m. of the same day.

As usual, I still had to compliment myself with my usual hiking regimen which I have been doing since my arrival in the US in 1991. This morning provoked memories of the early 1990s. I met again the sons of the great Julio Cesar Chavez (107-6-2). I recalled their father breaking time and altering spaces with the now-legendary Mexican-American hero, Oscar De La Hoya. These sons, surely a lot less “towering” than their rugged father, are both undefeated in their professional boxing career, namely: Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. and Omar Chavez.
Omar has 25 wins, 0 loss and 1 draw, inclusive of 69.23 % knockouts. He is supporting his older brother, Julio, Jr., who is scheduled to challenge for the World Boxing Council Middleweight Championship against undefeated of thirty-two professional fights, Sebastian Zbik from Germany. And Julio, Jr. has 42 wins, 0 loss and 1 draw, inclusive of 68.18% knockouts.
The same fight will be held at the Staples Center this coming June 4.
“I am preparing myself to challenge Sebastian Zbik of Germany on June 4,” Julio Cesar, Jr. said. “This will be the most difficult fight for me.”
“But, I am ready to be the new world champion.”
Alex Ariza, his conditioning coach, believed the oldest son of the Aztec hero has qualities to become a champion.
“I believe he has the innate ability to become a champion. He is teachable and works very hard and also very determined,” said Ariza, who is also the current conditioning coach of Pound-for-Pound king Manny Pacquiao.
