Erik Morales vs. Marcos Maidana- Morales of old was one of the best technical boxers that I ever saw. Morales to me was one of the best ever at being able to rip combos from top to bottom. That however was the Morales of old, this Morales I feel will not be able to fire off enough firepower to keep Maidana honest. Miadana to me is a will breaker type of fighter. Maidana is the type of brawler that makes every single one of his punches count. I see Maidana knocking out Morales inside 8 rounds. Maidana KO in 8.
Robert Guerrero vs. Michael Katsidis- This is the brawl that I am looking forward to the most. This clash will be a war from start to finish. Katsidis to me is one of the last action heros. Katsidis maybe cut from the same cloth as late/great warriors like Diego Corrales and Arturo Gatti before him. Guerrero, is also cut with in that very same cloth. There is absolutely no quit in either of these fighters, they both know how to dig deep and find that extra gear. Both fighters realize that in order for them to get to the bigger names that they must go through each other to be able to land those bigger names. I love Katsidis and everything that he stands for, but I see Guerrero?s southpaw stance giving Katsidis hell in the later rounds. Guerrero by split decision.
Rota Em – Erik Morales vs. Marcos Maidana (junior welterweight) ? I think Ell Terrible has auctioned himself into a last bid effort to rake in good money. And if he succeeds, well, then more good money will follow. If he fails, there won?t be too much gripe about it since he has already ?retired?. It?s a win-win for Morales, but he?ll another victim of the strong Maidana. Maidana via UD
Robert Guerrero vs. Michael Katsidis (WBO/WBA interim lightweight championship) ? Let?s make one thing clear, Guerrero is a little underrated and I think that Katsidis will finally show the world The Ghost?s true power. In a firefight it will be Guerrero via TKO, let?s say middle to late rounds.
Cesar Zuniga – Marcos Maidana/Erik Morales – Morales will always be remembered as a great Mexican warrior but the truth is he is not the same fighter he once was. Famous for always making entertaining back and forth fights Morales will not be able to stand and exchange with Maidana. Maidana is at his prime right now, a natural Junior Welterweight and not to mention arguably one of the strongest punchers in boxing. He will pressure and wear down Morales who will look to box in this fight but his tremendous Mexican heart will cause him to want to exchange and that will play right into Maidana?s hand. Amir Khan wasn?t able to keep Maidana at bay for 12 rounds before Maidana was able to rock him and Morales sadly will not last to the end of the 12th.

Robert Guerrero/Michael Kasidis – This fight has possible fight of the year written all over it. From the moment this fight was announced the excitement of the bout began to spread. Michael Kasidis is plain and simple a warrior. He?s fought the best in the division and win or lose has made every fight an action fight. His straight forward give and take style makes every bout he is in a potential barn burner, and this fight will not be different. Guerrero has made his transition into the lightweight division a successful one. His dismantling of Vicente Escobedo was impressive but he will have a much different fighter to face with Kasidis. Guerrero is the better boxer of the two and will look to box, move and counter Kasidis, who is known for taking a lot of punches due to his lack of defense. Kasidis will pressure from the beginning, consistently moving forward, throwing a lot of punches and making Guerrero uncomfortable. Likely taking the first couple of rounds. As the fight wears on Guerrero will be able to find his range and counter Kasidis but not after eating some shots of his own. The fight will begin to open up and both fighters? will begin to exchange, both taking shots and both fighter?s will get hurt in the process. Kasidis? relentless pressure will make this fight great and inevitably be too much for Guerrero. Bloody and beaten Kasidis? hand will be raised at the end as he wins a split decision and a 2nd fight will desired.

Chip – I think Morales is coming to party early in thia one, but Maidana will go to the body and eventually take Erik out in the middle rounds.
Guerrero can fight inside. Guerrero can fight outside. He?s kind of like Gamboa in that he?s looking for a spectacular win to put the world on notice. With the style that Katsidis brings, The Ghost may have an opponent that will walk into something big and get him the coveted fight with Marquez.
Dr Baio – Erik Morales vs. Marcos Maidana (junior welterweight) ? I have Marcos maidana ko?ing Erik late in the fight. We saw what maidana did to khan. Erik is to old. To slow to avoid maidanas power. The punishment will be to much for him. This will be the fair well match for morales the pacman killer.
Robert Guerrero vs. Michael Katsidis (WBO/WBA interim lightweight championship) ? Great march between to great guys. Well Guerrero?s boxing be able to out move the boxer puncher with the most heart. Katsidis is to great a warrior. I see this as a great win for katsidis and a fight that Guerrero will need to learn From and come back from to get to the next level.
Judi Abate- Robert Guerrero vs. Michael Katsidis (WBO/WBA interim lightweight championship) This is a tough one. I think either fighter is capable of winning but I give the upper hand to Katsidis.
