Earlier today inside of the downstairs lobby of the MGM Grand Garden Arena, ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley and Manny Pacquiao participated in their second press conference for their upcoming bout, set to take place inside of the same building in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 7th. In an interesting twist, the two men participated in separate press conferences at the same time in respective studios within the arena.
In studio 1, Shane Mosley spoke of his amazing longevity at 38 years of age, compared the star status of Pacquiao to his previous opponents in Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather, and also spoke of how easy his Filipino opponent is to be hit. Roughly 100 feet away Pacquiao talked of how he planned to break Mosley down and seemed to disregard the size advantage that some claim he is up against.
After they both finished speaking to the press the two fighters where whisked off to the main arena, where a throng of supporters awaited them as the final leg of the presser was open to the public.
Sides from each fighter spoke and afterwards promoter Bob Arum would do something different as he had members from the audience field questions to the two fighters, finishing up a long day in Nevada.
