Obama-Pacquiao summit brighter as Egypt’s 18-day revolution ends – Arum

Casual talk from BEVERLY HILLS, California – The overthrow of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was a warning to the icons of power across the middle east. But, for Celebrated Harvard lawyer and Top Rank Godfather Bob Arum, it signals a brighter prospect empowering for an Obama-Pacquiao summit next week.

“With a stunning end of the 18-day revolution in Egypt, the “chance-meeting” of Manny Pacquiao with US President Barrack Obama is likely to happen,” says Arum. “We’ll be heading to Washington after the Pacquiao-Mosley press conference in New York.”

“As soon as we get there in Washington, we should be hearing from US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid about the confirmation of the meeting,” Arum adds.

After the third media gig in New York on Valentines Day, Pacquiao and his lovely wife, Jinkee, would be heading to Washington with Arum and the Team Pacquiao entourage, along with media personalities. They’ll be staying at the famous Hay-Adams Hotel, Top Rank officals report.

“Hay-Adams Hotel is as close as anyone can get to staying at the White House, short of being invited by the President,” says the information bank of that said hotel.
