Marquez vs. Morales?- Is this fight going to ever go down or what? If I am Marquez, I fight one more big fight then end my great career fighting Morales. Come to think of it, there are no more big money fights for Marquez at 135 so maybe Marquez should just fight Morales now and then hang up the gloves. Only fights against Humberto Soto and Brandon Rios would spark interest but neither one of those are big money fights. So that is why Marquez should just get it on with Morales and make it do what it do.
John Duddy- Um does Andy Lee strike fear to opponents? Maybe to some. Does Andy Lee strike the kind of fear to make fighters lose the love for boxing and then retire? In this case it sure does. I mean why not train like hell and give your Irish fans one last fight and then retire after the fight? In all honesty, Duddy is a great guy, I wish him the very best in whatever it is that he decides to do next.
Bradley/Alexander- I can not wait for these two to get it on next week. It?s really a 50/50 kind of fight. Some nights I feel that Alexander will jab the day lights out of Bradley, other nights I feel that Bradley is going to beat the breaks off of Alexander by outworking him. I personally am picking Bradley to win, I feel that Bradley is going to walk into the oven without getting burned. Bradley will step in and out and give Alexander a little of everything. Bradley is smart enough to know that if he stays in the oven too long that he will get burned, I mean Alexander is not really a knock out punching type of guy, but Alexander does have the type of punch that can sting you. Should be interesting.
Amir King Khan- I?m hearing that John Murray will get the call to fight Amir Khan next. I happen to like Murray, I think that he is a rough and tough fighter, but Khan is going to blitz him. Do you remember how easily Khan beat Kotelnik? Well, same thing is going to happen here.
Shane Mosley sparring partner?- I was recently asked on who I thought Mosley should employ as chief sparring partner to help him prepare for Pacquiao. Well number one, there is no one in the world that can come close to duplicating the things that Pacquiao does in there is what I answered. But if I had to go with one name, it would have to be Mercito Gesta. My bet is though, that even if Mosley was to contact Mercito and ask him to help him prepare, my money says that Mercito would decline simply for having too much respect for Pacquiao. As good as Mercito is, even then one would need at least 2 Mercito Gestas in there to duplicate one Manny Pacquiao. Speaking of Pacquiao, Pacquiao will already have Shawn Porter with him in camp which is very good, because to me Porter is the closest thing to Shane Mosley.
Cotto/Mayorga- Boy oh boy, can Mayorga sell a fight or what? I just may order that fight after all.
