Former Cuban Olympian, and light middleweight prospect Erislandy Lara had yet another short night on Friday, continuing his streak of first round knockouts to 4, and improving his record to 15-0, with 10 KOs.
The fight was the main event of TeleFutura’s “S?lo Boxeo Tecate” program, which was aired from the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.
At 2:59 into the fight, Paris Arkansas’s Delray Raines went down from a powerful left cross, and was unable to beat the count. Trainer Stacy Goodson said that his fighter’s nose was broken by the punch.
Raines’s record now stands at 18-9-1, with 13 KOs.
