“Mosley, at 39 years of age, he looked awful against Mayweather. I mean, he was shut out against Mayweather. It’s hard to make an argument that he’s going to look a lot better against Pacquiao,” replied ESPN2 analyst Teddy Atlas as he shared his thoughts on the May 7 showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley during the season premiere of Friday Night Fights. According to Atlas, although he may have a puncher’s chance, the odds of Mosley pulling off the upset are slim.
“He can punch, of course, Mosley with the right hand. Maybe he can time Pacquiao coming in, getting a little wreckless, you know, a little too aggressive; starting from too far away, maybe time him a little bit with the right hand coming in, but at the end of the night, you have to like Pacquiao,” he added.
Is Atlas right? Does Mosley have any type of shot against Pacquiao? Let us know your opinion in the comments below.
