Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley. The big fight has been made. You may not know it now, but this is the best fight we could have hoped for.
Mosley, contrary to every Pacquiao supporter, can win this fight. For boxing, it would be the best possible result.
If Pacquiao loses, he will have the excuse that he was too busy being a congressman and didn?t have time to concentrate on the fight. So, what would he do next? Would he take a rematch with Mosley or would he want to fight Mayweather, who after seeing him lose, would not only have the confidence, but the arrogance to make fight him.
Thus Pacquiao vs. Mayweather happens. So my boxing friends, let?s hope there is a not a clause in the contract that says either fighter gets a rematch. Think back on this, Ali loses to Frazier then Foreman destroys Frazier, Ali then gets a fight with Foreman and knocks Foreman out. As a result we got the greatest fight ever, Ali vs. Frazier III.
This fight between Pacquiao and Mosley could be the springboard to even greater fights.
