Top rated bantamweight Fernando Montiel is back in action tomorrow night where he will look to set the stage for a 2011 super fight with Nonito Donaire.
WBC and WBO world bantamweight champion Fernando Montiel (43-2-2, 33 KOs) has a lucrative bout with rising star Nonito Donaire tentatively set for Feb. 19 of 2011, but before the talented Mexican can set his sights on that fight he must take care of business tomorrow night. On Friday Dec. 10 Montiel will be back in action taking on Eduardo Garcia (21-5-1, 9 KOs) in a ten round bout in Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico. Should ?Cochulito? handle Garcia as expected, the proposed February bout with Donaire will be one of the most marquee matches seen in boxing?s lower weight divisions in some time.
