It took Freddie Roach, Manny Pacquiao?s trainer, to point out the difference between being truly apologetic and just wanting to hide something. Asked to comment on the supposed apology proffered by Antonio Margarito?s trainer about a video which showed some of his rival coach?s boxers making fun of Roach?s Parkinson?s Disease, the irrepressible Freddie said: ?That?s not an apology. That?s a cover-up.?
Roach gave the curt reply after Margarito?s trainer said he didn?t know that his boxers had been mocking Freddie in front of a camera, something he said he would never allow in the gym where the Mexican fighter trains. Some of the boxers, Margarito?s trainer insisted, didn?t even know that Roach was suffering from the disease?something Roach dismissed as incredible.
