One day after a video hit the Internet in which Antonio Margarito, Brandon Rios and trainer Robert Garcia were filmed making fun of trainer Freddy Roach’s disability (his Parkinsons tremors), Margarito went on record with Boxingscene writer Jhonny Gonzalez to blame the videographer. According to Margarito, he wasn’t mocking Roach’s disease, it was the footage that was edited in a way make it appear that he was. Here at Boxingtalk, we call bullshit on this latest excuse. The videographer whose integrity has been called into question by Margarito is Elie Seckbach of Fanhouse.com. Because we believe Seckbach acccurately showed the disgusting actions of Margarito, Rios and Garcia, we call on Mr. Seckbach to clear his own name by releasing all of his footage on his site, with no editing whatsoever. Having blamed Seckbach for the outrage, Margarito has now opened to the door to a full public airing of what he actually said. We are willing to bet Margarito, Rios and Garcia will come out looking even worse.
