Manny Pacquiao arrives in Dallas

Manny Pacquiao arrived in Big D on Monday for his big brawl with Antonio Margarito.

Pacquiao touched down at Dallas-Fort Worth airport in a private plane with over 200 guests, including Phillipine dignitaries. The 31-year-old boxer was elected to Congress in the Phillipines in May. The super welterweight fight at Cowboys Stadium on Saturday is expected to draw a bigger crowd than the first bout there. Pacquiao fought Joshua Clottey in March and drew over 50,000 fans.

The largest indoor attendance was 63,315 in 1978 when Muhammad Ali fought Leon Spinks at the Louisiana Superdome in a heavyweight title fight.

Pacquiao is considered by many the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. He has won titles in seven divisions and has an overall record of 51-3-2.

Margarito, who is 27-6, was reinstated from suspension for the fight after he was found to have used improper hand wraps in a bout with Shane Mosley in Los Angeles on Jan. 24, 2009.
