When I visited California a few weeks ago, I ended up spending more time with Margarito then I did Pacquiao. Freddie Roach had to put the gym on serious lock down due to being concerned with Pacquiao’s progress in training at the time. As a result of the Wild Card lock down, I ended up in Oxnard instead. Team Margarito treated me and my team like family, and I was able to get some very nice coverage of their camp.
During my few days in Oxnard, the Margarito camp were very respectful and had nothing but nice things to say about Pacquiao, and Freddie Roach. When I saw the video on YouTube where Margarito and Brandon Rios were mocking Roach’ Parkinson’s symptoms my stomach knotted up. This was a disgusting classless thing to do, and both of these guys (if they have a shred of decency) should immediately apologize for this.
It’s one thing to talk noise to hype a fight, it’s a completely different thing to make fun of someone who suffers from a disability. Are you kidding me? Did I see Brandon Rios on video making fun of someone who has to live wit
