Manny Pacquiao Vs Antonio Margarito: Preview & Predictions

Manny Pacquiao Vs Antonio Margarito: Preview & Predictions. Come this Saturday, the junior middleweight belt of the WBC will be up for grabs at the Cowboys Center in Texas. HBO Pay per view would offer a viewing of the bout and going for it shall get you comped with three other fights of the night featuring Cordoba and Rigondeaux, Soto Karass and Mike Jones and Lowther and Brandon Rios respectively.

The PPV viewing starts at 9 in the night on Saturday. However, in the battle that has become the centre of attraction for one and all, Margarito would certainly not want to hear how the betting odds are stacked up against him and totally in favor of Pacquiao. The reactions of the fans and the officials are not going to excite Antonio the least bit either. For him it is like going into a battle knowing that there can only be two possible results ? him losing or the opponent winning.

The expectation from the fight is that one out of three possible situations shall arise. Certainly Margarito is a decent enough boxer and he is not going to go down without bringing a fight. He will certainly be aggressive but matching the speed of Pacquiao shall be nothing less than impossibility for him. He may last as long as the first ten rounds but only to be out-boxed by Manny in the following. The only viable option for his manager would be to surrender the match on his behalf.

One common concern is the fact that Antonio is much larger in frame than he is. But then again, he has made a career out of knocking out larger opponents. And now the doubters in that regard have steadily faded away. And many are of the opinion that an 8th round victory shall not be a problem to achieve for him.

However, concerns over insufficient training done by Pacquiao do not seem to go away. It keeps popping up among certain sections but most of them as well would still bet on Pacquiao as the talent difference between him and Margarito is too vast a void to fill.
