Pacquiao Vs Margarito: Antonio is bigger but PacMan is better

Pacquiao Vs Margarito: Antonio is bigger but PacMan is better. Boxing fans around the entire globe are nothing short of excited as Manny Pacquiao is all set to take on Antonio Margarita for a super lightweight division match in the WBC during the weekend.

The whole world shall be looking forward to this Saturday the 13th as that is when the best boxer in the world today takes on an opponent who many expect is going to test him more than he has ever been before.

The air of controversy and doubts that surrounded this match in the last few weeks only adds to the flavor of the match as it has got swarms of people keep their eyes open. Moreover, Pacquiao has a point to prove perhaps. After all, it was not that long ago when allegations of not training well enough and being distracted were directed at him by the media and the fans alike and even his trainer had similar complaints.

Moreover, it is a new weight division for Manny this as, he has entered the 150 pound category for the first time. All his previous battles were in weight categories between 105 and 148 pounds ranging over seven different weight categories and he has held the championship titles for each one of them.

Having been undefeated for almost six years now, he would certainly like to carry on with his record now as well. And having never featured on the 150 pound division before, it is obvious that Manny has some bigger opponents ahead of him and Margarita is no different.

While weight-wise Pacquiao now matches up with Margarita pretty nicely, he cannot eliminate the difference in height. Manny being just five and a half feet tall and his opponent nearing six feet, would definitely keep him at a disadvantage as far as the reach is concerned. However, Pacquiao has made a career out of wrestling larger opponents, not just in the WBC.

That being so, we can expect another fine performance from him when he dashes gloves with Antonio.
