Ricardo “El Maestrito” C?rdoba is training for the fight of his life in Miami, Florida. After leaving the gym on Wednesday, Cordoba weighed 124-pounds, only two pounds above the weight for his scheduled fight with Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux. The fight takes place on the November 13 undercard to Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The interim WBA super bantamweight title belt will be at stake.
“Fighting on an event like this is the dream of every fighter and you can not afford to lose,” said Cordoba to Jorge Olmos. “They think they’re going to win, because they keep talking about my defense and my style, but I’ve learned and experienced other things that are going to help me win that night and I’m going to give them a big surprise.”
