MANILA ? The RP national boxing team remains unscathed as flyweight Rey Saludar beat Ireland?s Declan Gerraghty, 8-5, to join Charly Suarez, Victorio Saludar and Delfin Boholst in the finals of the 31st Tammer Cup at the Pyynkikin Palloiluhallissa Sports Hall in Tampere, Finland.
The victory of the elder Saludar kept the unbeaten run of the four Pinoys, who are using the prestigious tournament to prepare for the 2010 Asian Games.

Saludar started cautiously and trailed, 0-1, but regained his bearings with a solid straight to the head to level the count, 1-1.
In the other semis matches, the younger Saludar rallied from a 0-1 deficit to oust Russian Artem Ivaschenko, 4-1, while Suarez showed too much class against Finnish Petteri Frojdholm, 7-2, in their 56-kilogram match.
Boholst, on the other hand, broke the hearts of the hometown crowd a second time by shutting down Jarkko Putkonen, 6-0, in the 64-kilogram class.
