This writer was granted exclusive access to the Antonio Margarito training camp in Oxnard, California. The former world champion arrived at approximately 1PM and quickly got to work. Margarito looked sharp, sparring, speed bag, and stretches were on the agenda for the day.
Margarito trainer Roberto Garcia spoke with the Examiner this afternoon and shared his thoughts on the progress of training camp thus far, “He is right where I want him at this point in camp. We are close to finishing up sparring. The fight is only a few more weeks away, and I could not be happier with Tony’s progress.”
