Following his May 15th loss to Amir Khan there seemed to be much confusion about the future of Paulie Malignaggi. The Brooklyn fighter was overwhelmed by Khan?s speed and versatile attack in suffering the worst defeat of his career and the typically vocal Malignaggi was strikingly quiet. It was later revealed that Malignaggi was no longer promoted by Dibella Entertainment as he has since joined forces with Oscar De La Hoya?s Golden Boy Promotions. It should make for an interesting union as long as it lasts and the parties could recently be found at Gleason?s Gym participating in a boxing clinic for local youth.
