Yet another edition of Michael Marley’s Monday Morning Madness.
I mean, what can I tell you, I always liked alliteration.
Which reminds me that:
Coach Freddie Roach usually sells a lot of “wolf tickets” before a Manny Pacquiao bout but he is overdoing it this time as to Margacheato.
One day, Roach vows that Manny will scare the waste product out of Antonio.
The next day, Roach tells the Pinoy press that Pacman will physically brutalize the taller, bigger Mexican and to hell with the sizable difference in reach.
Some theorize that Roach barks because Pacquaio is low key in his prefight verbal remarks. I can appreciate that but if this verbal attack continues apace, I am scared.
What if Tone Loc gets the willies?
What if his knees are knocking already?
What if he doesn’t show up in Tejas?
If that happens, if Margarito runs for the border, we can only blame one man.
Pin the tail on Roach for exceeding the required volume level.
We get your point, Fredster, now give it a rest and get Manny back on the good foot (James Brown reference)…
I’m sorry but if you scored the Sergio Mora-Shane Mosley stinkeroo a draw, you need remedial lessons in Boxing 101. Either that or you fell asleep about round three…
I see where “Perro” Angulo says coverage of his immigration morass is part of smear campaign by Top Rank. Oh, really, O”Reilly?
I do note that What’s It All About, Alfie, does not deny being in the U.S. illegally. And he did not discuss persistent rumors that he’s ditching promoter Big Gary Shaw to go under the Golden Boy umbrella…
When they have a stinker fight in the UFC, how come no one writes the “black eye for MMA” stories that we always get bombarded with after a boxing snoozer?…
I didn’t know Pomona was far from reality. Does Mosley really believe he’s a viable Pacman opponent right now? It will take at least one fight to lose the Mora stigma for Mosley.
He was going to fight Andre Berto before so why not now?
Winner joins the queque for Manny, loser leaves town.
